Using the lab environment

Overview

A dedicated virtual training environment is provided for this course. Each student is assigned a unique lab number (N) and a dedicated environment that can be accessed through a web browser.

The environment includes a virtual FortiVoice system and three FortiFone clients, as well as shared infrastructure services such as DNS, RADIUS, NTP, and a SIP-based PSTN simulator.

FortiFone clients are accessed directly from within the virtualized training environment.

Note

The FortiGate and FortiSwitch devices in the training environment are preconfigured and do not require any configuration or direct access during this training.

  • Open and start the training lab
  • Access the FortiVoice web interface
