Call Flows
Overview
FortiVoice provides several features for controlling how incoming calls are routed to users and services.
A ring group distributes incoming calls among a group of extensions. Depending on the configured strategy, the extensions can ring simultaneously or in a defined sequence.
An automated attendant answers incoming calls and presents callers with a menu of options that can route calls to extensions, ring groups, or other destinations.
A virtual number provides an internal dialable number that can route calls to another FortiVoice destination without requiring a dedicated extension or physical device.
In this section, you will configure these features and use them to build basic call flows.
